Coronavirus (27/11/20) – Update

The Scottish Government announced that some regions have moved from the original Tier they were originally placed in. You can find out what zone your institution is in by using the following postcode checker.

There are different levels of sports participation allowed dependent on what zone your institution is based in. Please use the following guide to ascertain what sport can go ahead in each zone. For specific sport information, you can find the most up-to-date information HERE.

All institutions that opted in for the BUCS Term 1 activity are placed within the central belt and are within the Scottish Governments COVID Tier 3 or 4 zones. Therefore, it is with regret that no leagues can go ahead until the guidance positively changes. SSS is monitoring the situation and providing an update every Monday within our weekly competitions email and on our website.

SSS is continuing to work with many of our SGB contacts to pass on any feedback that we receive from our members while also making sure that our information is accurate and up-to-date. SSS will continue to follow both Government and Sport Specific guidance about COVID-19.

For any COVID- 19 related queries please contact Chris Purdie, Head of Competitions at chris@scottishstudentsport.com.
