SSS extend partnership with the Scottish Handball Association until 2022

This agreement will come into effect in 2020 and extends into the 2021/22 season, ensuring consistency for the sport as both organisations continue to deliver existing strategies and shape their future outlook. 

SSS are thrilled to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement with the Scottish Handball Association (SHA). This agreement will come into effect in 2020 and extends into the 2021/22 season, ensuring consistency for the sport as both organisations continue to deliver existing strategies and shape their future outlook.

Allan Stokes, Regional Development Coordinator for the Scottish Handball Association, shared his excitement of the new agreement. He said:

“Scottish Handball are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Scottish Student Sport. This is an exciting time for Scottish Student Handball as we look to formalise the work that has been done over the last few years, working closely with Scottish Student Sport we look forward to developing and extending handball opportunities and competitions for students across Scotland”.

This collaboration will ensure the continued development of student handball in Scotland. The partnership will focus on building a robust student workforce, developing stronger clubs as well as enhancing competitions. To support the delivery of key objectives within this partnership, SSS is recruiting a Handball Chair to join our volunteer network. More information on this exciting opportunity is available here .
