Kirstin Bamford

Kirstin studied Law at University of Edinburgh and is just about to qualify as a solicitor.

A keen triathlete herself and a member of Edinburgh based club, TriWorks, Kirstin only took up triathlon during lockdown but won her Age-Group at the Scottish Sprint Championships 2021 (her first triathlon!) and is now looking forward to racing at the European and World Age Group Championships in 2023.

Scottish Student Triathlon Development Group

Kirstin is further supported by excellent volunteers in developing and delivering the triathlon programme:

Hannah Done (Vice Chair)

Hannah is a Chartered Surveyor working in Edinburgh for JLL. She studied at St Andrew’s University and played hockey whilst studying in Scotland!

It was only this year that triathlons sparked an interest, and she joined the new and ever growing Edinburgh based club, TriWorks. The social side of racing and training has been a key driver for her, and the winter training will keep her busy, with a focus on further afield races next year, managing to qualify to represent GB at both European and World Age Group Championships. Travelling abroad to compete will be an exciting opportunity, and it is definitely a benefit to getting involved with triathlons!
