Boxing Coach

University of Stirling Amateur Boxing Club has an opening for a boxing coach.




Role Outline:
As an ever-evolving club it is essential that coaches assist the committee, and get involved in the decision-making process. Your experience and understanding of both boxing as a sport and the policies and practices associated with wider organisations will be invaluable.

Job Description:
The Successful applicant will be PVG certified, and hold a recognised boxing qualification, e.g. Level 1 or 2 coach. Ideally you will be Box Scotland affiliated, and willing to include the club within your insurance, however this is not a prerequisite for the role.

There is a degree of flexibility to what days are coached.

The immediate goal of the role is to help prepare for the Novice Championships in October 2017.

Personal Specifications:
The successful applicant should have high energy levels, and be enthusiastic about Boxing and fitness. Although boxing is not a team sport, we are looking for a team centred individual, who will take part in all aspects of the club. All applicants welcome.

Rates of Pay:
The club times are weekday evenings and a Friday morning, at £20 per session. There is a degree of flexibility to what days are coached.
