Hazel Robertson
From a solo ski crossing of Europe’s largest high-mountain plateau, to running six marathons in seven days in the Sahara desert, to traveling human powered across Alaska to raise awareness of the impacts of climate change, to launching an international coaching and training business, Hazel thrives on setting huge, terrifying goals that require her to continually move through discomfort and fear. As she explains in her talks, this discomfort is the ticket to our dreams.
Maree Todd MSP
Maree Todd grew up in the West Highlands, before studying Pharmacy and Prescribing at Robert Gordon’s University and University of Strathclyde. A pharmacist by profession, Maree worked in NHS Highland for 20 years, mainly as a mental health pharmacist in a psychiatric hospital. First elected to Holyrood in 2016, Maree is the Minister for Public Health, Women’s Health and Sport.
Melissa Wilson
Melissa learnt to row at university and went on to race in three World Rowing Championships, as well as becoming a World Under-23 medallist. Selected for GB Rowing’s Olympic Squad in 2020, when the Olympics were postponed she turned her focus to the opportunity sport has to inspire climate action and co-founded Athletes of the World to harness and expand the power of athletes as sustainability advocates.
Angela Kershaw
Angela Kershaw has worked in Education for 28 years, and is currently employed by The City of Glasgow College as a Lecturer in Leadership and Interpersonal Skills, providing bespoke, tailored training provision to a wide range of industry sectors. Angela has a degree in Management with Law and has over 25 years’ experience of engaging with employers/employees in a wide range of industry sectors within the learning and development arena.
