Archery Outdoor Championships

Peffermill will once again host the prestigious Outdoor Championships and Outdoor Head to Head.

This year both events will also be held under Scottish Record Status!

Venue: Peffermill Playing Fields, Laurie Liddell Clubhouse, Peffermill Road, Edinburgh, EH16 5LL
Date: 15^th-16^th April 2023
Time: Club arrivals from 9am, assembly from 9.30am.

Eligibility: All Student archers must be a fully matriculated student with an Institution of Higher Education (University or College) affiliated to SSS as per our Terms and Conditions.
Guest entries will be allowed, via the ‘Guest ticket’ option for each competition, however please note that student entries will be prioritised over guest entries as we wish to ensure all students have their competitive opportunities ensured

Format: 

Outdoor Champs (Saturday):

Round: WA1440

Club arrivals from 9am, assembly from 9.30am.

Senior male archers to shoot at 90m, 70m, 50m, 30m.

Senior female and novice male archers to shoot at 70m, 60m, 50m, 30m.

Novice female archers to shoot at 60m, 50m, 40m, 30m.

Outdoor Head to Head (Sunday):

Round: WA720 and H2H

Club arrivals from 9am, assembly from 9.30am.

Recurve archers to shoot at 70m whilst Barebow, Traditional and Compound archers to shoot at 50m.

Entries: All archers need to enter individually via the SSS Playwaze system by 4pm on Tuesday 4^th April 2023

Clubs are Guaranteed places for up to 4 archers, although may enter up to 4 as ‘Non-Guaranteed’ (who will be accepted by random draw to fill remaining spaces). Please note, your Sports Unions will need to know who your Guaranteed and Non-Guaranteed shooters are as they have permissions on the system to make those selections.

Cost: Students – £10 Champs entry and FREE Head-to-Head entry. Guests – £12 Champs entry and £6 Head-to-Head entry

Payment: Students – As there are set capacity limits set per institution for this event, the system is set up to invoice your Sports Unions for the total entries we receive per club. These invoices will be sent in the week following the Championships.

Guests – Guests are to pay via card using the system
