We are delighted to bring back the Scottish Student Athletics Indoor Championships! With medals up for grabs, be sure to bring your A-game!

Date: Saturday 12th February 2022
Eligibility: Any student currently matriculated at a Scottish University or College who has paid their SSS institution affiliation, is eligible to enter via the Student Entry forms. If you are unsure if you are eligible to enter as a Student, please get in touch.
Anyone who is not a current student (member of a non-SSS affiliated university or college, Alumni, standard club-runner etc.) will be asked to enter as a ‘Guest’ via the limited Guest spots available. Guests will be asked to pay a higher fee as per our Scottish Student Athletics Eligibility Policy.
Declarations: Declarations open at 10am. Please register no later than 1 hour before your event. The FINAL event timetable can be found HERE (PLEASE NOTE some event times have changed so please double check this before arrival)
Entry: Entries are now closed. Refunds will not be provided if you withdraw after the deadline, as per our Terms and Conditions.

Volunteers:
This event won’t run unless student clubs provide volunteers to assist on the day. Please sign-up to be a volunteer HERE by 5pm on 9th February to help bring this event to life!
Spectators: Due to limited seating capacity, we have set a limit on the number of spectators able to attend this event. Tickets are free and can be accessed HERE until 4pm on Thursday 10th February 2022.

We were delighted to see 4 records broken at this event! Congratulations to:
- Katie Purves (UWS) – set a new 60mH record in 8.40s taking her to 2nd ranked overall Woman in Scotland for the event
- Krystof Hornyik (St Andrews) – set a new 1500m record with 3:53.28, breaking a 7 year old record
- Teddy Tchoudja (Strathclyde) – broke her own Shot Putt record with 13.29m
- Noah Lambert (St Andrews) – set a new 3000m record with a run of 8:25.24
Congratulations also to University of Glasgow who won the Iain Cosgrove Trophy for Best Overall Institution! Full results for this trophy can be found HERE.
Katie Purves (UWS) was awarded the Ian Tatton Trophy for Best Performance by an Individual Athlete, for her double Gold in the 60m and 60mH, record-breaking run and new position in the top 5 ranked women’s athletes for the 60m.
