Athletics Outdoor Championships

The Scottish Student Athletics Outdoor Championships is an event not to be missed!

Declarations and Timetable: Declarations open at 9am. Please register no later than 1 hour before your event. The FINALISED timetable can be found HERE. Please read this CAREFULLY as changes have been made from the Provisional Timetable due to entries recieved

Eligibility: Any student currently matriculated at a Scottish University or College who has paid their SSS institution affiliation, is eligible to enter via the Student Entry forms. If you are unsure if you are eligible to enter as a Student, please get in touch.

Anyone who is not a current student (member of a non-SSS affiliated university or college, Alumni, standard club-runner etc.) will be asked to enter as a ‘Guest’ via the VERY LIMITED Guest spots available. Guests will be asked to pay a higher fee as per our Outdoor Championships Eligibility Policy.

Entries: Entries are now closed. No late entries will be accepted. Please be aware that entry caps are in place for all events to ensure the event runs smoothly. Refunds will not be provided if you withdraw after the deadline, as per our Terms and Conditions.

Entry Cost:

  • Student Individual – £12 per entry
  • Guest Individual – £15 per entry
  • Relays (Student only) – £16 per entry (BACS or invoice)

Payment: You will be able to pay by card on the Playwaze system.
STUDENTS ONLY – If you wish to request support from your Sports Union to cover the cost of your attendance, please click ‘Defer Payment’ and this will send them an invoice request. PLEASE NOTE – you should talk to your Sports Union about financial support BEFORE you sign-up to this event

Relays:

  • We will accept relay entries on the day and clubs can pay via invoice or by BACS
  • Due to time constraints we will only accept 1 team per institution, per relay event on the day up to a maximum of 8 teams total (i.e. one Final per event)
  • Relay teams should consist entirely of students from the same institution

Well done to University of Glasgow who retained the John Innes Memorial trophy for the institution with the most overall points on the day! Full team results can be found HERE
