How To Get There: Due to limited parking facilities, we are encouraging as many people as possible to take public transport to the event:
- Alexandra Parade train station is right next to the park, with regular trains from Queen Street station. From this station (in black circle on map below), it is a 5 minute walk North up Sannox Gardens on the East side of the park to take you to the sports hub (black arrow on map).
- Buses 38, 38A, 38B and 38C take you from Queen Street station (city centre) to Alexandra park in 10-15 minutes, also dropping you off on Edinburgh road at the bottom of Sannox Gardens (black circle on map).
Parking We encourage all runners to arrive by public transport, wherever possible. If parking is required, competitors are NOT allowed to park at the Sports Hub Building, as those parking spaces will be for Officials, Volunteers and First Aiders only.
Parking is therefore advised on on Blochairn Road (near fruit market, G21 2DU), then it is a short walk over the footbridge to the sports hub in Alexandra park.
