This event will be the second of the SS Cycling Series 2022-23! We are delighted to be co-hosting our Championships alongside the Linlithgow CX hosted by West Lothian Clarion.
Date: Sunday 29th January 2023
Time: 0900 (full timings can be viewed HERE)
Eligibility: All riders involved must meet the following criteria-
- be currently matriculated and able to show student cards upon request
- be part of a student club (If you are not part of a student club, you will need to pay to join your Sports Union in order to be covered by insurance)
- have entered the Linlithgow Cross event via British Cycling
Student Races: The Men’s and Women’s Student Championships will be integrated into the ‘Women’s Race’ and ‘Open Men’s Race’. Students must enter the event via British Cycling, to secure entry. Once entered via British Cycling, students are to confirm their entry for the SS Cycling Development Group on Playwaze.
Race Timings and Capacities: Race timings can be found on the main event page HERE. Races are restricted to 100 riders (students and non-students). Riders will receive a copy of the race manual closer to the date.
Gridding: As the student championships will be integrated into an open race format, student gridding will not take place. Gridding will be based on results from round 1 of the Super Quaich series (Battle of the Bing – January 8th).
Sign-Up Cost: Student confirmation on Playwaze = FREE. Main event is £20

Entry Deadline: Entries are on a first-come, first-served basis and are expected to sell-out (Linlithgow CX will play host to round 2 of the Super Quaich CX Series – a hugely popular series in the CX calendar) – so enter ASAP!
