Kumite Karate seminar – with Calum Robb!

Gym 4, St Leonard’s Land, Edinburgh, EH8 8AQ

This year, Scottish Student Karate are hosting a seminar to provide students from around the country the opportunity to learn from the best. We are delighted to have successful athlete, Calum Robb (pictured), passing on his experience!

Most of us will have heard of Calum Robb, who studied both an Undergraduate Degree and PhD at Heriot Watt University. During this time, he dominated the British University Karate Scene and was awarded a record breaking 9x consecutive ‘Blue Awards’ (University Sporting Colours). During his university career, he amassed a total of 18x BUCS Golds and 14x Scottish Student Golds as well as being European University Champion, World University Silver medallist and both Scottish Student Sport and British Universities Sports Person of the year. Furthermore, Calum is the only Scottish Karateka this century to have medalled at both Senior European (EKF) and Senior World (WKF) Championships.

We are delighted that Calum will be delivering a seminar for students in Scotland this October! This seminar is an excellent opportunity to learn from someone who has successfully competed and achieved at the highest level so don’t miss out. All levels welcome.
