Mixed Doubles Tennis Tournament

University of Stirling, Stirling, FK9 4LA

SS Tennis are delighted to bring back this brilliant event for you Recreational/Development (i.e. non-BUCS) players!

Date: 12th February 2023

Venue: University of Stirling Sport, Stirling, FK9 4LA

Time:Players should register no later than 1030 on the day. The event will finish by 1800

Eligibility: All players must be currently matriculated at a SSS-affiliated Scottish University or College as per the SSS Terms and Conditions

Pairs Composition: Teams must consist of one person who identifies as a Man and one who identifies as a Woman.

Format: This is a fun, mixed doubles competition. There will be timed tie-breaks and all pairs will be split in to 4 groups of 4. The top 2 in each group then compete in the main draw, bottom 2 will join the plate draw. Warm up games and social tennis will be included before and after the main competition.

Entry Cost: Entries are now live on SSS Playwaze HERE!

Entry Process: Please ensure that you notify your Sports Union that you intend to enter as we are looking for your pairs to be ranked as your highest ranked pair (pair 1) and second highest ranked pair (pair 2).

The Sports Union can arrange payment for these teams via invoice, but this should be discussed with them first.

Players will need to apply to ‘join’ the ‘Pair’ they are going to play in to so will need their own account on the Playwaze system in order to do this. Please get in touch if you don’t know how to do this and see our How To Guide

Entry Deadline: 1600, 3rd February 2023

Equipment: Please bring your own tennis racket, if you don’t have one then please let us know in advance to the event so that we can provide one for you.

Pre-Event Information: Please stay tuned
