Eligibility: This event is for competitive student netball teams participating in BUCS Netball Leagues 22/23 (see ‘Team Entry’ section for more details). All players involved must be currently matriculated and able to show student cards upon request as per our Terms and Conditions
Team Entry: Please pay to enter your team via Playwaze HERE, then encourage your players to sign up to SSS Playwaze and join the team, so we know who to expect (see below). Each team is allowed up to 12 players on their team sheet.
One team per institution will be guaranteed entry into Championships. A second team entry from the same institution will be put on a waiting list and accepted depending on number of teams already entered. If the competition is oversubscribed for its overall capacity, teams on the waiting list will be accepted based on their BUCS league positioning at the close of the 21/22 season.
Player Entry: Players need to sign up to the SSS Playwaze system individually so we have a record of them on the team sheet. They should follow the steps in this How To Guide to sign up, then join the netball community before finding their team and joining. Players must be signed up by 28th October
Entries: Entries are now closed. Invoices will be sent to ver the cost of teams who deferred payment to their Sports Union
Equipment: Please bring warm up balls and a match ball with you. Please wear your club playing dresses and patches or bring a set of bibs per team. Please wear non-marking trainers that are suitable for playing on an indoor court. Teams will be asked to assist with scoring and timing, so please ensure you have access to a stopwatch, scorecards and pen
Umpires: We ask that teams bring a confident C umpire (or B umpire) with them to cover matches as no umpires will be provided by SS Netball. Umpires will not be paid by SS Netball (in order to keep entry costs down). If you need to go externally (i.e. outside your club) to seek your umpires, please know it is the teams’ responsibility to pay that umpire fee
