Online Kata Competition
Compete at home!

The online Kata Competition returns! We want to provide a friendly, relaxed way for the SS Karate Community to dust off the cobwebs and put their training in to practice!
The Online Kata Competition involves students submitting videos of their performances to be judged in a peer-review format.
There are novice and senior categories available – novices can even try their hand at the senior category in the second round if they want to! We welcome participant with disabilities to enter via our Para categories as well!
Cost: Free
Timeline:
- Submissions Open – Mon 31st October
- Submission Deadline – Mon 14th November (remember you can submit up to three videos!)
- Results and Social on Zoom – Tues 22nd November
Participant Guidance and Rules: Please read this document carefully BEFORE submitting your kata
Video Submissions: Please submit your videos using the Participant Guidance document (above) by midnight on Monday 14th November
Judges: We would appreciate it if each club could nominate alumni/experience club members to help with judging, please. Please contact scotstukarate@gmail.com by 7th November with the names and email addresses of anyone interested in supporting with this
Results: We will release the results at our online social on 22nd November at 7pm! Please save the date
