HBHM Launch Digital Badge

We are excited to launch the new HBHM digital badge which recognises the contribution of those institutions completing the award. Check out the new designs here!

SSS are delighted to launch the new digital badges that will recognise the contribution of the institutions achieving Healthy Body Healthy Mind awards. These have been developed in conjunction with ASH Scotland and the Scottish Government for institutions to use throughout their communications and marketing to promote their achievement. It reflects the flexible nature of the awards and gives institutions the opportunity to use this badge on promotional or branding material.

The change came from a suggestion from Fraser Reynolds (Edinburgh Napier University). Fraser suggested including the Scottish Government logo, to improve visibility and recognition of the HBHM award, whilst celebrating the governments association to the award. The updated colour of the logo was an idea formulated across a number of inputting partners during a Healthy Body Healthy Mind drop-in session. These sessions are monthly and are open discussions where ideas are shared and challenges faced together.

Sarah Gandon (Scottish Student Sport) leads the Healthy Body Healthy Mind project. She said:

“We are seeing a number of institutions getting close to and reaching the milestone points of Healthy Body Healthy Mind now, and being able to give them a digital badge that they can use across all of their campuses and communications is a really positive move and we look forward to seeing them in place as our institutions are able to open up more over the coming months.”
