SSS agree new three-year partnership with Scottish Curling

The ambitious new agreement will see Scottish Curling and SSS collaborate on developing the sport in the student sector.

SSS are thrilled to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement with Scottish Curling (SC). This agreement will support both organisations toward strategic goals over the next 3 years.

Maggie Wilson, Scottish Curling Development Manager for Central Scotland, shared her excitement of the new agreement by saying

We look forward to building on our current relationship with SSS and with the Scottish Student Curling committee to develop student Curling at existing student clubs and in new locations within the college and university sector in Scotland and allow as many students as possible to enjoy the sport of curling and become part of the wider curling community.’

This collaboration will ensure the continued development of student curling in Scotland. The partnership will focus on growing participation, increasing and improving the competition offering and ensuring the long term sustainability of clubs. In 2019/20 SSS delivered the Fun Bonspiel, a brand new event aimed at new-to-curling students and the new Partnership Agreement will look to build on the success of this.
