SS Judo are delighted to bring back the Kyu Grade Tournament – this year receiving the highest number of entries in the event’s history!
Date: 5th November 2023
Venue: Saints Sport Centre, University of St Andrews
Eligibility: Open to all senior players below 2nd kyu including novice (white belt) grades as long as they have a valid full license on the day. Guests (non-students) are accepted as long as they are over the age of 16

Weight
All competitors will be weighed in and split into pools of 4 or 5 if possible.
Categories
- -60kg, -66kg, -73kg, -81kg, -90kg -100kg, +100kg
- -48kg, -52kg, -57kg, -63kg, -70kg, -78kg, +78kg
- Novice (white belt) to 5th kyu (yellow belt)
- 4th kyu (orange belt) to 2nd kyu (blue belt)
Please note: Men of similar weight & grade may be grouped together on the day. Women of similar weight & grade may be grouped together on the day.
Entry Cost: £23 for Students, £26 for Guests. All entries are subject to the SSS Event Terms and Conditions.
Students can pay by card on the system or select ‘Defer Payment’ to request to pay via invoice (though please talk to your Sports Unions in advance if you are requesting an invoice). Guests will need to pay by card up front
