University of Stirling triathlon brothers, Douglas and Fergus Roberts, are fitter than ever on the eve of the 2017 European triathlon season which begins at the ETU European Cup in Gran Canaria this weekend.
After a delayed start due to snow, the final round of the 11th SSS/BUCS Dondonald Tournament finished under blue skies with Chloe Goadby (Stirling) and James Wilson (Stirling) taking home the individual honours.
The second day of the 11th SSS/BUCS Dundonald Tournament saw very challenging weather conditions which tested the field to the limit. With the top 12 women and top 30 men making the cut at the end of the day, competition was fierce to secure a chance at earning valuable points towards Tour Finals qualification.
On a very changeable day on the west coast of Scotland it was Stirling University who sat at the top of the men’s and women’s leaderboards after the first round of the 11th SSS/BUCS Dundonald tournament.
